CAMINO

I remember when I saw a film called Camino. It was a Spanish made movie. It was about a girl, a very beautiful girl who was very ill. She had a cancer. Her mother was very religious; she was always saying that God would save her daughter from the disease. The time passed and the girl was getting worse. Doctors operated on but she wasn't better. So, her mother decided not to do anything because if there was any solution, it was a God's miracle.
The only person who took really care of the girl was her father. He had to work outside to earn money for his family, so he could never be in hospital with her. Anyway, one day, he bought some cakes in a bakery, and took some letters to her daughter from a boy who was in love with her. He thought that the girl would be very happy to read them.
Suddenly, while her father was driving to the hospital, a big lorry hit the car and he died in that accident. This was the most impressive scene in the film for me, because I started to cry. It was very sad to see how the girl was dying without saying goodbye to her father and without reading those letters.

INFORMATIVE ESSAY

ENDANGERED ANIMALS

THE IBERIAN LINX

The Iberian Linx is a kind of cat, with leopard-like spots, and a big capacity to detect its prey. It lives in the Iberian Peninsula and it is one of the most endangered cat species in the world. It likes to live in environments with trees, dense shrubs or open grasslands. Nowadays, it's only found in mountainous areas. The Iberian Lynx hunts mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians, but its main prey is the rabbit. They can eat one rabbit per day (males) or three rabbits per day (females).

Today, it is estimated to be as few as 100 surviving Iberian Lynxes. The situation is critical. They are endangered because of the destruction of their habitat and the declining of rabbit's population.

To sum up, nowadays, there are a lot of groups or associations that work to protect the Lynx's habitat, help them to reproduce and to find food.

My name is Júlia Soler and this composition is about my personal experiance at the English class this year and all I have learned with the Comenius Project.
During this course we have done a lot of activities like talking and recording videos about us or about our Christmas traditions. I think it is good to write many compositions because you improve a lot your vocabulary and you learn to write better. The activity I haven't liked is the one which we had to do a recipie and record it because I don't like recording myself with a camera.
The most enjoyable activity, I think it was doing Christmas songs because it was very funny and easy to do. Other easy thing and good to improve our computer knowledge was the creation of a blog. We had to put photos in it, videos and some texts.
This year I haven't learned many new things because I go to the English academy but it's good to learn new vocabulary and review the grammar and other things.
In conclusion, this year I have enjoyed it more than others because the activities were more varied.

His name was Snoopy. He was my dog. His eyes were blue and he had brown and soft coat. One day, when I was 8, my sister, Snoopy and I were staying at my grandma's home. It's a very big house, in the middle of a field and surrounded by a lot of trees.
That day, while we were having lunch, we noticed that Snoopy had disappeared for four hours. My grandma was very worried so we started to look for him around the land. We didn't find him.
Finally, when my sister was about tot phone the police, I heard a noise upstairs, in the attic. Quickly, we went there and there was the surprise. We saw about ten birds flying and living in the attic. It was very dirty and untidy!
We needed an expert to make them go away.
Unfortunately, Snoopy never appeared again.

WAVIN' FLAG

"Wavin' flag" isn't my favourite song because I haven't got any favourite songs, but I like it. :) It is the third official single by K'naan, a Somali Canadian musician. It's from the album "Troubadour". I have never heard about K'naan but maybe in amerca it is famous.
This song has been remade in 2010 by a group of Canadian singers called "Young Artists fot Haiti" as a charity single to help people from Haiti.
The lyrics of the new song were changed to include specific lyrics for Haiti. It tells things like all their houses, their possessions, their dreams are now gone but even so they have to survive and we have to help them.
In the videoclip the singers of the song like Avril Lavigne, Nelly Furtado, Pierre Bouvier, Justin Bieber, Jully Black, Lights, etc..., appear there while they are recording it. Among these images there also appear some pictures of people of Haiti and all the damage that the earthquake has produced. So, the videoclip is very connected to the lyrics.
In conclusion, I really like this song and I think that joying a lot of famous singers to sing, is a very good idea to raise money to help poor people.

MY FUTURE

In twenty years I will be 34 so I don't know what I will be. I have thought about it many times.
I imagine that I will be taller (I hope so =D ), with some wrinkles and I will dye my hair because I will start to have grey hair.
I will be married and I will have one son or daughter. I hope I will live in a very big and beauriful house, away from my hometown. I have always been dreaming about living in other country because I often need to change my habbits and I think that in the end, I will be tired of living in the same place for a lot of time.
I will work as a home designer. I'm original and I think I would like this job.

Finally, I think I will have the same hobbies. I will still like listening to music (it's so relaxing) and, I won't have so much time, but I would like to ride a horse sometimes because now, I love it!
